Welcome to My Personal Page
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit more about TAPS. I will matching the first $500 in donations, should you choose to donate. Please don't feel pressured.
The 45th Annual Marine Corps Marathon was scheduled for Sunday, October 25th but due to COVID19 will be run virtually. This will be my 7th year in a row running the MCM in support of Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS). TAPS provides direct support to families who have been impacted by a death in the military regardless of geography or circumstance. Jeanne and I lost Aaron 4 years ago on Monday, March 21st, 2016. Aaron had just returned to Eastern Kentucky University after spending Spring Break with us. Although Aaron didn't die in the military, Jeanne and I can certainly understand what it is like to lose a 19 year old son.
TAPS participants from across the country will walk, some will run, some will bike, some will swim, and some may even dance. Together we will honor the life, love, and legacy of our fallen military heroes--while raising funds and awareness for TAPS.
The funds I raise will flow directly into TAPS programming which supports these families through an amazing network of resources, seminars and publications. TAPS provides these services at no charge to survivors from all branches of the service, including Reserves and National Guard. TAPS’ programs and services are available not only for immediate family, but also for extended family and friends. Please help me honor our fallen heroes by supporting me in this effort. No donation is too big or too small.
Thank you!
