3.25.2017 For the second year in a row, team ETEU will participate in the annual Windy25 Memorial 5K in Las Vegas. On March 25, 2017 we will honor the crew of Windy25 -- CW2 Clint Prather, CW2 David Ayala, SSG Chuck Sanders, SPC Pendelton Sykes, and SPC Michael Spivey — and the 13 passengers who lost their lives in Afghanistan on April 6, 2005 -- MAJ Edward J. Murphy, SGM Barbaralien Banks, CPT David S. Connolly, SPC Daniel J. Freeman, MSG Edwin A. Matoscolon, SPC Chrystal G. Stout, SPC Sascha Struble, SGT Stephen C. High, SSG Romanes L. Woodard, SGT James S. Lee (USMC), S. Jason Lucio, Lance B. Taylor, and Ronald Wade.
This run benefits the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS). This organization has been a wonderful support system to the surviving families of the Windy25 and so many other military families around the world.
The funds we raise flow directly into TAPS programming which supports these families through an amazing network of resources, seminars and publications. TAPS provides these services at no charge to survivors from all branches of the service, including Reserves and National Guard. TAPS’ programs and services are available not only for immediate family, but also for extended family and friends. Please help us honor our fallen heroes by supporting me in this effort.
