I am participating in a special fundraiser in support of the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS). TAPS provides direct support to families who have been impacted by a death in the military regardless of geography or circumstance.

Welcome to my personal fundraising page for the Team TAPS CO Winter Race Series. This event is designed as a motivational tool for those who struggle to stay active during the long winter months. The goal of the race series is to complete 1 race per month as a part of Team TAPS, either as a part of a virtual race or organized event, starting on Veterans Day and concluding on Memorial Day. Each race will honor the memory of a fallen soldier, and bring awareness to the efforts of TAPS in supporting our military families.

The funds I raise will flow directly into TAPS programming which supports these families through an amazing network of resources, seminars and publications. TAPS provides these services at no charge to survivors from all branches of the service, including Reserves and National Guard. TAPS’ programs and services are available not only for immediate family, but also for extended family and friends. Please help me honor our fallen heroes by supporting me in this effort.  No donation is too big or too small.

I will post race information, fundraiser updates, and photos as I take on this challenge over the next 6 months to raise awareness for the TAPS program.
