Welcome to My Personal Page
Luck.
Luck has provided me with the ability to support such a wonderful organization, while not personally partaking of its resources.
Luck allowed my husband, Bryant, to serve in the Air Force during peace.
Luck allowed my family to serve; My brother, sister, brother-in-law and nephew, and return safe and sound.
Extreme luck brought 2 of our dearest friends (Cori and Paul Wegener) back to us time and time again from very difficult Army deployments.
The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) is about caring for the loved ones of those women and men who have served to protect our freedom and not returned.
TAPS has provided comfort and hope 24 hours a day, seven days a week through a national peer support network and connection to grief resources, all at no cost to surviving families and loved ones.
In October I will be running the Marine Corps Marathon in support of TAPS. This is my first time running for a cause; other than the masochistic need to destroy toe-nails.
I will not ask if you support an organization such as TAPS; of course you do.
I will ask you to take a moment and think about what a small donation can do for a grieving family in need.
Thank you!
