This October, I’m running the Marine Corps 10K in memory of my grandfather, Staff Sergeant James M. Selix, who was killed in action on October 30, 1971. This isn’t just about honoring his service—it’s about making sure he’s remembered and keeping his legacy alive. The money I raise will go to TAPS, which supports the families of America’s fallen heroes with the care and resources they need.
