Welcome to the Team Spencer Collart page
I'm Running the Marine Corps Marathon October 27th, 2024!
UPDATE: Thanks to your generous donations, we've earned over $8,000 so far for TAPS. We made the local news last night. Here's the link:

Our son Cpl Spencer Collart, along with Maj Tobin Lewis, and Capt Ellie Lebeau Cooke, perished as heroes in a V-22 Osprey crash off the northern coast of Australia on August 27th, 2023.
This October, to honor these brave Marines, including the survivors—especially Cpl Travis Reyes, and to honor all our military fallen, I will be participating in the Annual Marine Corps Marathon in support of the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS).
TAPS provides direct support to families who have been impacted by a death in the military, regardless of geography or circumstance.
Funds raised will flow directly into TAPS programming, which supports these families through an amazing network of resources, seminars, and publications. TAPS provides these services at no charge to survivors from all service branches, including the US Marine Corps, the Army, Navy, Air Force, Reserves, and National Guard. TAPS’ programs and services are available not only for immediate family, but also for extended family and friends.
SPENCER UPDATE: On September 16th, 2024, the Commandant of the Marine Corps and Mrs. Eric M. Smith will present us with the Navy and Marine Corps Medal in honor of our son, Corporal Spencer Roman Collart and his acts of heroism, jumping back into a burning aircraft in an attempt to save the pilot and copilot who were trapped in the cockpit. Their partially unbuckled straps are attributed to Spencer's actions.
Please help me honor Spencer, Tobey, Ellen, and all our fallen heroes by supporting me in this effort. No donation is too big or too small.
Thank you!
