How do I register my fundraising event online?
Go to the register link above, select the Register Your Fundraiser button and complete the form. You will be guided through the registration process. Once your transaction is complete, you will receive a confirmation email receipt. Staff at TAPS will review your registration and contact you if they need additional information or there is a problem with your request. Please allow 24 hours before advertising your event to allow staff time to review your event. If you have any questions, email us at development@taps.org. How do I join an existing fundraising event online and help fundraise?
Go to the register link above, select the Join an Event button, input the Fundraiser name (or leave blank if you do not know it) and select the Search for a Fundraiser button to list existing fundraisers. Select the Join button next to your fundraising event and complete the form. You will be guided through the registration process. Once your transaction is complete, you will receive a confirmation email receipt. You may begin fundraising immediately. If you have any questions, email us at development@taps.org. What is unique about this website?
This website is so unique because it offers the capability for individuals to not only register for the event, but also to collect donations from their friends and family through a much more efficient mechanism. Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) Event Manager and the event Participant can track the progress of donation collections through viewing secured online reports.
Is my information secure?
Yes. Blackbaud has made every effort to protect your information. We use industry-standard SSL encryption techniques to make sure that your credit card information, passwords, and personal information travel securely over the Internet. We have also installed an encryption engine on our database server so that your data is securely stored.
What is the Access your Participant Center link I received in my confirmation receipt?
This website address will take you to your personal donation page. This address link is automatically included in any emails that are sent through the email center in event headquarters after you have logged into the website. You can also copy and paste this link into any other form of email.
Can friends and family make a donation to a Participant by going through the main website?
Yes. On the home page of the website, friends and family can locate a Participant by clicking on the "Sponsor Participant" link. By typing in the name of the Participant, they will be directed to the Participant's personalized pledge page.
