Run for Rachel

Thanks for your interest in remembering Rachel's Legacy. Since so many of her friends and family are spread all over we're looking to do a virtual 5k anytime during the month of September, suicide prevention/ awareness month.

Crazy Eyes had a way of demonstrating kindness to everyone she met, she had an easygoing personality and loved to make people laugh. While running may not necessarily make you laugh, this event reminds us of Rachet and what she was about.

It also raises awareness to another topic often discussed at length, with too few meaningful results. TAPS exists to help those who are left grieving the loss of a service member ( Active or veteran).

If you can donate, cool. I'd ask that you at least give the site a look though, and see what ways they can help you or anyone you know who is struggling with something like this. Thank you for your time.

With you,

Jill

We are participating in a special fundraiser in support of the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS). TAPS provides direct support to families who have been impacted by a death in the military regardless of geography or circumstance.

The funds we raise will flow directly into TAPS programming which supports these families through an amazing network of resources, seminars and publications. TAPS provides these services at no charge to survivors from all branches of the service, including Reserves and National Guard. TAPS’ programs and services are available not only for immediate family, but also for extended family and friends. Please help us honor our fallen heroes by supporting us in this effort.  No donation is too big or too small.

Thank you!
