Welcome to My Personal Page - Family of Cpl Patrick W. O'Reilly
When you lose a child, you lose a part of your heart that will never come back. Grief is hard, emotionally exhausting, and sometimes, lonely. TAPS has given me a way to connect with a community of people who have experienced the same loss I have. They understand what I feel, how I think, and can say things that only this community will understand. Michael and I attended the National Suicide Seminar in 2021, since then I have attended this seminar again in 2022. I have also been to a Care Group for Survivors, attend a monthly Moms mentoring Moms group, and have watched many of their videos that TAPS provides online. By doing all this I am working my way through my grief. Grief affects the whole family, we grieve in our own ways (Son, Brother, Friend). TAPS gives to the whole family and is working to help us move forward in that grief. Please help us raise money to donate to keep this amazing group providing programs for the survivors of a military death.
I am participating in a special fundraiser in support of the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS). TAPS provides direct support to families who have been impacted by a death in the military regardless of geography or circumstance.
The funds I raise will flow directly into TAPS programming which supports these families through an amazing network of resources, seminars and publications. TAPS provides these services at no charge to survivors from all branches of the service, including Reserves and National Guard. TAPS’ programs and services are available not only for immediate family, but also for extended family and friends. Please help me honor our fallen heroes by supporting me in this effort. No donation is too big or too small.
Thank you!
