Hello! I'm excited be running the Chicago Marathon in support of and as a part of the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) Race Team

After completing the NYC Marathon as a part of the TAPS team last November, I knew I wanted to continue to support this amazing organization while completing another bucket list race for myself in the process.

TAPS provides direct support to families who have been impacted by a death in the military regardless of geography or circumstance.

The money donated by people like you in my community will flow directly into TAPS programming which supports these families through an amazing network of resources, seminars and publications. 

TAPS provides these services at no charge to survivors from all branches of the service, including Reserves and National Guard. TAPS’ programs and services are available not only for immediate family, but also for extended family and friends. 

This year, I am extremely honored to be running in honor and memory of ETC (EXW/SW/AW) Ryan DeKorte

Please help me honor our fallen heroes by supporting me in this effort. It is my hope that by being a part of the TAPS race team that it makes those of you affected directly by a death in a military more aware of what TAPS offers and utilize their amazing services offered! ​
